 Charles Hindson - Chief Executive, Filtronic plc
Charles was appointed Chief Executive of Filtronic plc in November 2006 after two years as Finance Director.
Prior to joining Filtronic, Charles was Finance Director of Eutelsat SA, the Paris based leading satellite operator, for five years, and a member of its Management Board. Prior roles were with BT, British Gas and 3i.
Charles graduated in Engineering Science and Economics from Oxford and is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers.

John Poulter - Non-executive Chairman
John Poulter was appointed as non-executive Chairman on 31 July 2006. In 2001 he was appointed
non-executive Chairman of Spectris plc, the precision instrumentation and controls company, of which he was
Chief Executive from 1992. His earlier career was with BTR plc and Cambridge Instruments. He has been a non-executive
director for a number of public companies including RAC plc and Kidde plc. He is currently a non-executive director of
Smaller Companies Value Trust plc.

non-executive director and chairman of the nominations committee. He is Chairman of ICM Computer Group plc and
SPI Lasers plc and a non-executive director of Capital Gearing Trust plc.

Reg Gott - Non-executive Director
Reg Gott was appointed as a non-executive director on 13 July 2006. Since 2002 he has been a director
of FKI plc, an international diversified engineering group. He has an extensive background in the machinery, automation
and controls segments of the capital goods markets across Europe and North America.

 Professor Stephen Burbank - Non-executive Director
Stephen B. Burbank has been a non-executive director since 1994. Professor Burbank is currently the David Berger Professor for the Administration of Justice at the University of Pennsylvania. He is Chairman of the Board of the American Academy of Political and Social Science and of the Editorial Committee of the American Judicature Society.
One of the pre-eminent scholars of litigation procedure and judicial administration in the United States, Professor Burbank is also an authority on issues of judicial independence and accountability, having served on the National Commission on Judicial Discipline and Removal by appointment of the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives. Since 2002, by appointment of a federal judge, he has served as Special Master of the National Football League.

Ian Hardington - Non-executive Director
Ian Hardington has been a non-executive director since 1999. Since 30 January 2006 he has been chairman of the remuneration committee. Mr Hardington is an analyst with Trinity Capital Limited, an investment management firm located in the United States of America.

Dr Maura Moynihan - Company Secretary
Qualifying as a solicitor with Lovells in 1993, Dr Maura Moynihan joined Filtronic plc in 2002 as General Counsel. Maura's background gives her particular expertise in the fields of intellectual property and company and commercial law. In 2004 Maura was promoted to Company Secretary and continues as General Counsel in addition to her new role.
