Filtronic plc announces that at its EGM held today shareholders approved the resolutions relating to the disposal of the Wireless Infrastructure business to Powerwave Technologies Inc, the creation of B shares to enable an effective return of cash, the amendments to the share option schemes and the authority to purchase shares.

The disposal of this business is therefore expected to complete shortly.
